Item 1.

The minutes of the last meeting held on 10th November 2009 were agreed as an accurate record.

Item 2. Treasurers Report

Accounts show as follows:

Nativity DVD’s	£156.00 (balance to follow of £21)
Nativity Photographs	£67.00
School Uniforms Emblazon the school outfitters have taken all the stock now amounting to £1174.21.  Once these items have been sold and the Emblazon have balanced our account, the school will then receive 10% profit from uniform sales.  This is once Emblazon have sold existing stock and re-imbursed the school £1231.22.

Item 4. Previous Events:

Thanks to:

1. All who helped organise the curry night.  Please note we are looking for a new curry supplier next time.
2. Jules Henry for organising the Nativity photographs.  It was mentioned that next year it maybe easier to take group photos of the event.
3. Jon Grainger for organising the DVD’s of the Nativity event.
4. Anyone who went to a Peter Lee photo shoot and helped raise £75.00

Item 5. Future Events:

Beetle Drive
This event has been cancelled for the foreseeable future
Themed Social
A date has been set for Saturday 24th April at Pannal Memorial Hall.  The theme is “Spaghetti Western!” Please see Martine if you would like to help with this event.

Rural Run
A date has been set for Sunday 20th June (Fathers day) in conjunction with a similar event hopefully to attracted more competitors.  Marshalls are needed.  Ruth Denwood to ask St Aidan’s pupils to help marshall the event.  Prizes of bottles of wine to be organised.   If anyone is interested in helping, please see Pauline Munroe.

Mothers Day Shop
Please send all unwanted gifts into school before Friday 12th March and any wrapping paper.  Children can bring money in on the day to buy their mum a Mothers Day present.  This event raised £161 last year towards school funds.

Item 6. Headmistress Report/Requests

£2511.28 has been spent on the following:
Reading books, potting shed, texting service, coaches, phonics, wellies

House T Shirts
T Shirts are to be issued to all children in new house colours representing their teams: Tigers/Lions/Leopards that they can wear for P.E and school sports day.  Further details to follow.

School Waterproofs
Further details to follow regarding waterproofs for the children to be available.  There is an issue regarding where to initial the item as they are reversible.

Building Works
The school is waiting for the go ahead for building works to commence.  Work will entail replacing windows and a possible extension with a library.  The school will have to find £11k to contribute to building works amounting to £110k.  There will be a big push for fundraising later in the year.  More details to follow after half term.

Bedtime Stories
This event has been successful.  There are plans to change the format in the Summer/Spring terms as the weather improves (!).  Any suggestions welcome.  This event will continue to run in conjunction with the PTA meeting.
